TREX COMPOSITE POSTS
TREX COMPOSITE POSTS & ORNAMENTAL PANELS: AN UPDATED CLASSIC
SECURE & STYLISH
This hybrid style is sure to appeal to any landscape. Trex posts with ornamental fence panels handsomely defines a space without hiding it. Trex composite posts complement traditional metal panels such as wrought iron, steel, or aluminum. It’s a unique alternative to the classical design and is perfect for pools, gardens, front yards, or any place where security is desired but privacy is not necessary or wanted. With three natural wood tone colors and an ornamental panel, Trex with iron seamlessly ties into existing architecture for a custom built look.
Trex posts won’t rust, rot, warp, or twist. They resist insects and are backed by the Trex 25-year warranty. Trex posts don’t require painting or staining. Many ornamental panels have a premium powder coat finish that resists rust and is low-maintenance, and both the composite posts and metal panels can be easily cleaned up with soap and water.
Manufactured steel or aluminum ornamental metal fence panels typically come in 3 styles: flat top or flush rail, spear top or pinched picket, and square extended picket. They are often compatible with custom finials and rings for a more ornate look. Wrought iron can usually be completely customized. Combined with the three colors of Trex, there are a lot of ways to create your own distinct look that will set you apart from the traditional fences commonly found.
For your convenience, Trex posts come in three lengths: 8 ft., 9 ft., and 12 ft. There are also three cap styles available. Installing them is easy. Most ornamental fence panels attach with flat mount brackets and screws straight to the Trex posts. Aluminum panel rails are usually installed into punched or routed holes in aluminum posts, but most manufacturers also offer a bracket mount option. Contact us if you need assistance.

COMBINE TREX & WOOD FOR ROT-FREE POSTS
For those who would still like a wood fence, using Trex posts is still a smart choice. Wooden posts are susceptible to rot and insect damage. Over time, wooden post rot is ultimately the cause of fence failure. By adding a Trex post substitution you can still have a wood fence that will last longer than wood on its own. It’s a great compromise between both products.
DECORATIVE POST CAPS
Post Caps add a design flair. Pyramid and Flat Top post caps make a visible statement with chamfered, layered edges. Crown caps have a slim profile for applications where attention to the tops of the posts is not desired.
